2005 Dallas Comedy Festival a Resounding Success
Dallas - It was a packed house at the historic Dallas Westend when over 50 stand-up comedians converged on Dallas for the 1st Annual Dallas Comedy Festival.
The three day event, July 27th throught the 30th, drew thousands of fans to a marathon series of stand-up comedy shows. It was the comedy event of the year
with top headliners, features and Dallas comedy royalty all making appearances. Clearly a labor of love by the stand-up comedians that once called Dallas home
and have moved on to find television and movie careers outside of Dallas. For the stand-up greats that continue to work the Dallas stages every week, the
Dallas Comedy Festival proved Dallas to be one of the top three hot beds of emerging stand-up comedy talent.
Flying in from markets as far as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Japan, Washington DC, Boston, Oklahoma City, Austin, and Houston the show schedule was packed
