J & J Comedy presents The Comedy Shoppe in the Sheraton at Woodbridge Place every Saturday night with weekly shows taking place in Christie's Bar and Grille, and monthly headliner events taking place in the ballroom of the popular hotel complex. With their now infamous "$5 Moonlight Comedy Showcase," J & J gives up and coming comedians a place to entertain, and their audience a chance to laugh. The night is hosted by rising area comic Joe Fernandes and features the best of both new talent and established stand-ups. Admission is only $5, and hotel guests enter for free. Every month J & J Comedy and The Comedy Shoppe will present their monthly headliner show in their feature room in the Sheraton at Woodbridge Place. These special events star some of the top comics in the country beginning on August 27th with Dan Naturman. Best known for his appearances on the second season of the hit reality TV show, "Last Comic Standing" Naturman has also been featured on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Show with David Letterman" and on "Comedy Central Presents" Also appearing on the bill is New Jersey native Joe Conte, who hosts the weekly "Bagg O Nutts" radio show on rocklandworldradio.com and has opened for some of the biggest comics around the New York Metropolitan area. The show begins at 9:00 with dinner, show and room packages are available and tickets are just $15 ($10 for hotel guests). Other upcoming headliner shows include the XXX ventriloquism of Otto and George ("Opie and Anthony" & "Howard Stern") on October 1st and Mitch Fatel ("The Tonite Show with Jay Leno") on November 26th.
